Cibbster Designs hosts client sites on hardened cloud infrastructure with daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring, automatic SSL renewal and monthly security patching. Plans start at $149 per month, and unlike commodity shared hosting, when something breaks you reach the person who built your site.

    Isolated cloud instances rather than crowded shared hosting, tuned for PHP and configured with sane security defaults.

  • Daily off-site backups

    Automated daily backups retained for thirty days and stored away from the server, plus tested restores — an untested backup is a rumour.

  • Uptime monitoring

    Checked every minute from multiple locations, with alerts going to us so we usually know before you do.

  • SSL certificates

    Issued and auto-renewed. Expired certificates are one of the most common and most damaging small-business outages.

  • Security patching

    Server packages, PHP versions and any CMS or plugin dependencies kept current on a monthly cycle.

  • Security hardening

    Content Security Policy, security headers, firewall rules, brute-force protection and sensible file permissions.

  • Performance tuning

    Caching, compression, image optimisation and Core Web Vitals monitoring, because page speed is both a ranking factor and a conversion factor.

  • Content support hours

    Included monthly time for small text, image and page changes so you are not invoiced for ten-minute edits.

How much does website hosting cost?

Our managed plans start at $149 per month and include hosting, backups, monitoring, SSL, security patching, hardening and included support time — the maintenance work that commodity hosting leaves to you, which on its own is commonly billed at $50 to $200 per month. Commodity shared hosting is cheaper on paper, but it excludes everything after the word "hosting" — when a plugin update breaks your site on a $4 plan, fixing it is your problem.

What happens if my site goes down?

Monitoring alerts us within a minute and we begin investigating immediately. Most incidents — a failed service, an expired certificate, a bad deploy — are resolved before a customer notices. If the failure is catastrophic we restore from the most recent verified backup.

Do you host sites you did not build?

Yes, after a short technical review. We check the codebase for anything that would make it unsafe or unmaintainable to host. If we find serious problems we will tell you honestly before taking it on rather than inheriting somebody else's emergency.

Can I leave and take my site with me?

You can leave the hosting at any time, with no exit fee. If you own the site — a build you commissioned and paid for as its own project — you take it with you and we help your new host with the migration. If the site was provided under a plan rather than bought outright, the site itself stays with us, but we still export your content, images and database so that nothing you supplied is lost. Hosting should be earned monthly, not enforced by making departure painful.

Do you offer a service level agreement?

Yes. Managed plans carry a 99.9% uptime target measured by third-party monitoring, and defined response windows by severity. The full terms are in the service agreement.
