Cibbster Designs offers eight services across the full lifecycle of a business
website: design and development, custom web applications, CMS development, search
engine optimization, analytics, ADA accessibility audits, email design, and managed
hosting. Everything is delivered by the person who builds it, and what you own is
stated in writing before you sign.
Cibbster Designs builds custom websites for small businesses, contractors and service companies in Lapeer County, Michigan and nationwide. Every site is hand-coded rather than assembled from a page builder, which keeps pages light, fast and fully under your control. A typical build covers strategy, design, development, accessibility, on-page SEO and launch, and takes four to eight weeks depending on page count. Builds start at $4,500 for a five-to-eight page business site, or $1,800 for a single-page or landing site, and rise with scope from there.
A custom web application is software built specifically for how your business operates, rather than a subscription tool you bend your process around. Cibbster Designs builds client portals, booking and scheduling systems, quoting calculators, inventory trackers, and internal dashboards. Projects start at $12,000 and run eight to sixteen weeks, with cost driven by the number of distinct user roles and workflows rather than page count.
A content management system lets your team update the website without touching code or paying a developer for every text change. Cibbster Designs builds lightweight custom content management systems, and also develops on WordPress when that is genuinely the right fit. The difference from an off-the-shelf install is scope: we make editable only the parts that actually change, which removes the plugin bloat and security exposure that comes with a general-purpose CMS.
Search engine optimization is the work of making your business the answer Google returns when a nearby customer searches for what you sell. For local service businesses that means three things: a properly optimised Google Business Profile, a technically clean website with correct structured data, and genuinely useful pages targeting the terms your customers actually type. Cibbster Designs handles all three, and increasingly optimises for AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews as well.
Analytics setup is the work of making your marketing measurable: knowing which pages, channels and campaigns produce actual phone calls and form submissions rather than raw traffic. Cibbster Designs configures Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, conversion goals, call tracking and privacy-compliant consent, then builds a dashboard that answers one question — where do my leads come from.
ADA website compliance means your site can be used by people with disabilities — including those navigating by keyboard, screen reader, magnification or voice control. In practice, compliance is measured against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard US courts and the Department of Justice reference. Cibbster Designs performs manual accessibility audits, remediates the failures, and documents the result in an accessibility statement. Automated scanners catch only a minority of real issues, so every audit we run includes hands-on keyboard and screen-reader testing.
Email remains one of the highest-return marketing channels available to small businesses because you own the list — no algorithm sits between you and your customers. Cibbster Designs designs and hand-codes responsive HTML email templates that render correctly across Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail, sets up automated sequences, and configures the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that determine whether your mail reaches the inbox at all.
Managed hosting means somebody other than you is responsible for keeping the website online, patched, backed up and fast. Cibbster Designs hosts client sites on hardened cloud infrastructure with daily off-site backups, uptime monitoring, automatic SSL renewal and monthly security patching. Plans start at $149 per month, and unlike commodity shared hosting, when something breaks you reach the person who built your site.

Why we publish prices
Most agencies hide pricing behind a discovery call so they can size the quote to
what they think you can pay. We publish ours because it saves everyone time: if
the numbers do not fit your budget, you have found that out in thirty seconds
instead of three meetings.
Every figure above is a starting price, not a finished cost. We do not
publish a ceiling, because there is no honest ceiling to publish: a large site, a
complex integration or an enterprise application can cost a multiple of the starting
figure, and a published maximum would be a promise that scope eventually breaks. A
quote arriving above an advertised range is worse than no range at all, so we do not
advertise one.
What the starting price buys is stated on each service page, and what pushes it up is
stated there too — page count, integrations, content writing, the number of user roles.
Your actual quote comes in writing after discovery, when we know the real scope, and
once it is written it does not move unless you change that scope.
If your project is smaller than these figures, say so rather than assuming you
are priced out. The web design price describes a five-to-eight page business
site; it is not a minimum we enforce. A single-page site or a landing page starts at
$1,800,
and a fix is quoted as a fix rather than as a rebuild. Ask — scoping down is a
conversation we have regularly.
The figures above are for work bought as its own project. There is also a monthly plan
that covers the build, hosting and maintenance together, which changes both
the cost profile and who ends up owning the site. And either way the ongoing services
can run on a monthly management plan — buying the site outright does not mean
looking after it yourself. The arrangements are compared here.

Not sure which service you need?
Describe the problem rather than the solution. We will tell you which service actually fixes it — including when the answer is "none of them, do this instead".
